# What happens if a shopper doesn't select a cause post purchase? (Multi-cause store giving)

If a shopper does not select a cause in the post-purchase pop-up, the donation will automatically be allocated to one of your causes. This rotates through your causes to ensure that, over time, donations are distributed evenly.
