# What does the post purchase email look like?

The post purchase email give shoppers a breakdown and impact of the donation they have made via your store.

It includes the total amount of the donation, the name of your shop, and the cause to which the donation will be sent. It also includes a brief description of how their donation will help.

### When will shoppers receive this email?

Your shoppers will only receive this email if they have opted in to receive marketing emails from your store. On Shopify this is done during the checkout as per the screenshot below:
