Accept your Virtue Invite
First things first, your charity partner will send over an invite for you to join the Virtue Platform that will look like the email below. Click the 'Set my password' to get started!
Set your Virtue Password
Follow the sign-up link and set your new password for Virtue
Select your Integration Type
For eCommerce businesses, this should be the Ecommerce Integration
Select your eCommerce Platform
Virtue can integrate with Shopify, Woocommerce & Magento. Select your store's platform here
Input your store's domain name
Input your store's URL to connect Virtue to your store's admin account
Enter your business' details
Enter your businesses' details here, including your company name, address, location and other basic information.
Accept your Charity Partner's disclaimers
Your Charity Partner requires your acceptance of certain disclaimers to allow you to market them on your store page. They may require you to show this exact disclaimer on your store's donation page.
Select the Cause to donate to
Your Charity Partner may have specific or regional causes that you can select from. You may choose up to 3 to support here.
Select your type of giving
With Virtue, you can donate from store sales (or with our Upsell option) or enable your customers to donate directly. Select how you would like to run your giving campaign here. You can choose as many options as you would like
Store Giving - Select your Store Giving Options
If you are planning to donate from store sales, select whether you would like to donate from the sales of all products or from a specific product/range of products. This can be changed in the Virtue admin page later on.
Then select how you would like to give from the products you have specified. You can donate a percentage or a set amount of a product's sale value. You can also apply donations to individual products or a customer's whole order amount.
Please also include the expected amount you believe you will raise from this donation type. It doesn't have to be spot on, a rough estimate will do!
Customer Giving - Select your Customer Giving Options
If you are planning to enable customer donations, you can either enable a fix donation amount per order or provide your customers with the option to round up their order to the nearest integer unit of currency.
- ## Upsell Giving - Select your Upsell Giving Options
Upsell with donations allows you to give customers a portion of the sale to donate to one of your causes post purchase. The amount they get is based on their order value. This feature is designed to help your store lift your AOV by using donations as incentives to buy, and to help generate even more impact for your causes.
Use this feature as an alternative or in addition to discounting to build customer loyalty, strengthen your brand and incentivise sales with social impact.

Schedule your Campaign
Next, schedule your giving campaign. Select when you would like your giving campaign to go live and how long you would like it to run for here. This can be altered afterwards in the Virtue App
Input your payment details
Finally, input your payment details here. This allows for your donations to go out to your Charity Partners automatically every month!
